I Pamela Marie Chapman was born in the home to my parents Ernest, Sr. and Effie Chapman on April 22, 1969 as you can see I wasn’t the type of person to wait. I was always a person to arrive and get the day started even at birth.
I attended Colleton County Public Schools graduating from Walterboro High, Class of 1988. I also graduated with my associates degree in science from USC Salk and later receiving my degree in Business management from Technical College of the Lowcountry in Beaufort, SC
I was loved by many and shared that love in return and many would tell me that I had a contagious smile, something that I love to share. My love for my children and grandchildren was unconditional and I hope they would never forget it.
To my children’s father, Charles Brown. Thank you so much for helping me raise our children even though biologically weren't yours.
I enjoyed fellow shipping with Greater New Jerusalem Church, knowing that God was preparing me for eternal rest, you see it is well with my soul.
I was the first African American to become General Manger For IHOP and Oh how I loved my job.
I was preceded in death by my nephew, Michael Chapman and grandmother, Louetha McClennon.
I’m leaving to cherish my memories my children: My everything, my only reason for going so strong: my daughter, my rock, my protector, my best friend Maria Hutchinson; my son Christopher Chapman, my hero, my handsome baby boy, my strength.
