Aaron DuBois Jr. Obituary

Aaron “BoBo” DuBois Jr. born on March 28, 1943, in Ruffin, South Carolina to Mr. Aaron DuBois Sr. and Mrs. Inez (Stephens) DuBois passed away on September 11, 2025, at the age of 82.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Aaron DuBois Sr. and Inez (Stephens) DuBois, his loving wife, Mrs. Catherine DuBois, whom he married on June 16, 1988, in Elkton, MD. They shared 20 wonderful years together.

He was employed by Randolph Security and was a faithful and active member of First Samuel Missionary Church.

“BoBo” Aaron was known for his love of family and friends. He enjoyed traveling, entertaining his great-grandchildren, and reminiscing about his younger days. He would speak about the times he was hanging with his cousin Willie D. Stephens, affectionately known as “Buster.” He would often share stories of their adventures with a big grin and a chuckle, saying, “Yeah, we had us some good Ole times.”

Aaron was preceded in death by his first-born, Sandra DuBois, and his siblings, Celestine Ketter, Erasmus DuBois, and Lula Black.

He leaves behind his children, Carolyn Gyton, Bernard Crenshaw, Donnie Summers, Jacquline DuBois, Velda  DuBois Thomas (Willie), Kenneth Brown, Aaron DuBois III, and Patrice DuBois Allen; his sisters, Oriole D. Brown (Freddie), Debra A. Powell (Lawrence) and Elizabeth D. Coaston; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his special devoted cousin, Willie D. Stephens (Buster)

Aaron’s memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. As he often said, “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.”
