Bennie Carnell Jenkins (BC) son of Bennie C. Gant and the late LaVinia Jenkins was born on January 24th, 1977, in Walterboro, S.C. His life departed on December 17th, 2024.
During his early ages, he resided in Jacksonboro, S.C. He relocated to Walterboro, when he was a teenager. BC went to schools in Colleton County but graduated from Job Corps in Greenville, Kentucky. He completed studies in Automotive and Machine Repair, Maintenance, Light Repair, and Pre-Apprentice.
BC loved fishing, crabbing, shooting pool, drawing, dancing, music, and being the life of the party with friends and family. BC worked as a Carpenter, Floor technician and Construction worker. He was a jack of many trades, to know him was to love him!
Preceded in death: LaVinia Jenkins (Mother), Janie Gant (grandmother), Sharon Blocker (Aunt), Norman Jenkins (Uncle), and Esau Jenkins Jr (Uncle).
Left to cherish his memories are: His wife Jimmie Jenkins, (3) children: Kristen Manigo (Philadelphia, PA.), Bryanna C. Jenkins (K’Shawn Salley), and Bennie Jenkins Jr. (Alexandria Jenkins) of Walterboro, S.C. Grandchildren: (5) Jayden Taylor, Darryl Coleman III of Philadelphia, PA., Kylic Salley, Kori Salley, and Elijah Jenkins of Walterboro, S.C. Father: Bennie C. Gant, Brothers: (2) Terry Gant of Charleston, S.C., Solomon Jenkins (Ashley) of Grovetown, GA. Sister: (1) Courtney R. Jenkins of Philadelphia, PA., Aunts: (9) Hazel Mixon (James) of Smoaks, S.C., Delores Smalls (Samuel) of Johns Island, S.C., Clara Cohen, Verdell Gant, Linda Washington and Sylania Jenkins of Philadelphia, PA, Mary Green (James), Leather Davis (Anthony), and Cathlena Bright (Victor) of Walterboro, S.C. Uncles: (2) Anthony Gant (Miriam) of Jacksonboro, S.C., Joe Jenkins (Brittany) of Walterboro. A very close best friend/cousin, Terrance Fraiser (Mutt Mutt) along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
