Brittani Solomon Obituary

.Hey guys it’s me! A lot of you called me “Britt-Brat”, but my Miami family knew me as “Zing-Zing”. Look at my baby picture; I’m just as cute as I want to be. I was born Brittani Sherolyn Solomon on September 24, 1993, to Sam B. III and Nyla Solomon. They are the best parents I know, and I will be watching over them.

Our Motto: “My mommy raised Princesses and my daddy raised Soldiers”

At an early age, I attended Greater New Bethel Baptist Church Day Care Center, in Miami Gardens, Florida. Let me make you laugh. In 1998, my big sis and I went to give our life to Christ under the leadership of Reverend Dr. G. David Horton. We walked up to the altar together, but my sister turned around and took off. She wasn't ready (I bet I just made you laugh Brandi). On the serious side, Mama & Daddy taught us to always trust and believe in God.

Before leaving the “305”, I attended Barbara Hawkins Elementary School in Miami Gardens, Florida and Lawton Chiles Middle School in Miami Lakes, Florida. In 2006, we moved to Walterboro, South Carolina where I continued my education at Forest Circle Middle School and later received my high school diploma from Colleton County High School, Class of 2012, home of the Cougars!

My employment days of service were fulfilled simply because I was taught by my parents to serve and serve well and that’s exactly what Burger King, Walmart, Starbucks and Pruitt Health of Walterboro received from me, my very best.

If you knew me, you knew I was a beast of an artist and with a pencil, I designed anything like nobody’s business. You tell me what you needed done and I had you! I had a love for fashion and modeling. Taking pictures was my passion.  All I needed was my make-up, lashes, and don’t forget my IPhone! I lived my life ready for“lights, camera, pose!”

On April 17, 2013 after carrying my first child for 27 weeks, I gave birth to Samyla Nevaeh Williams. I now know that God was in control when he immediately took her home with him. The pain that I carried after losing my daughter was almost unbearable because being a mother was something I wanted.  A few years later, at 29 weeks, God saw favor to give me my be loved son Travele Nashad Harley, Jr. His life is a miracle and he helped me to learn the true meaning of being a mother; a joy that I experienced for 4 years.  To my parents, please continue to guide Jr. and be there to help his dad raise him like a soldier.

On New Year’s Day 2021, your new year began, but my new life began. Some may  say, “gone too soon”, but I say God is on time. So here are my instructions and my love: I’m leaving my precious baby boy Travele N. Harley Jr. for you all to continue to love him just as much as you loved me; My loving parents and FULL TIME EVERYTHING Sam B. III and Nyla Solomon THANK YOU!!!; My two over protective brothers, Bobbie Jr. (Val) Neal and Blake Sr. (Stacye) Solomon, your job is NOT done, protect my Ju-Ju.; My sister, my “left hand woman” and “ride-or-die” Brandi (Mauriel) Atkinson our ride does not end here!!!; My loving God-sisters, Chante Sweet and Dorsaun “DeeDee” Greene thank you for being “God-sent” additions to our family. My handsome nephews; Blake Solomon Jr., Bradley Solomon and Braylen Atkinson, be strong and remember to take care of each other. My beautiful nieces; Gabrielle Neal, Nadia Neal, Bryanna Solomon and Liyah Sweet-Chance remember lights, camera, pose! To my aunt Vivian ‘Buffy’ Butler,  My uncles Warren Solomon and Van (Tres) Solomon, all 6 of my great aunts, I love you all; All of my cuzzos and life-long friends, KEEP YOUR HEADS UP;  And to the man that was so special to me, Travele N. Harley Sr., kiss our baby boy for me.
