Mr. Darrill Robert Matthews was born on August 31, 1960 as a twin to Terrill Benjamin Matthews and to the parents of Marilyn Matthews and the late Benjamin Matthews.
Darrill and Terrill are known as “The twins, The duke boys, The Matthews brothers, The blue truck brothers an The uncles” Those are some of the names they go by.
Darrill and Terrill graduated from Colleton County High School. The twins did a lot of work in Walterboro and other states as well. The twins built buildings in Walterboro. The twins were known for welding and working on cars. The twins love was working on cars and building race cars. The twins was always together you would never catch one without the other.
Mr. Darrill was preceded in death by his Grand Parents, Robert and Margaret Moultrie, Uncle, Clemon Moultrie, Stepfather, Christopher Pinckey.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his best friend and twin. Terrill Matthews; His mother, Marilyn Matthews; brother, Christopher Matthews; Sisters, Denise (Roosevlt) Landry, Kiesha (Kevin Gay) Matthews; Aunt Margaret Hillsman of New York City. A very special niece, Harmony Matthews along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, special friends and a very special friend Teddy Redd and to our extend family the Frazier.
