DeAngelo Calvin Freeman ended his season here on November 3, 2024 at Seven Oaks Rehabilitation & health Care Center in Columbia, South Carolina of a brief illness.

DeAngelo was preceded in death by his parents: Charlie “Chuck” Freeman and Evelyn Bing Freeman and niece Joy Freeman.

DeAngelo was born on July 27, 1975 in Philadelphia, PA.

DeAngelo enjoyed listening to Gospel music and had a great fondness for car rides. He loved to sit in front of the TV waving his hands, plastic bags and smiling with joy. He also had a passion for playing in the water. DeAngelo graduated in 1995 from Germantown High School in Philadelphia, PA.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving devoted brother, DeCarlo Freeman, Sr. of Myrtle Beach; devoted nephew and niece, DeCarlo Freeman, Jr. (Melissa) of Charlotte, NC; Uncle Kwame Bing (Tammy) of Charlotte, NC; Aunt, Delores F. Mason (Willie) of Laurens, SC; Special thanks to his guardian, Michelle Nunn of Lexington, SC; caretakers, Beverly Mitchell (son Mitch) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Debra Graham of Myrtle Beach, SC, Anne Ramseur of Ahoskie, NC , Debra Beckman of Tabor City, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
