Biography of Dr. Mary B. Memminger

Dr. Mary B. Memminger,  native of Walterboro, climbed the ranks of promotion from Sister to Evangelist, Assistant Pastor of 17 years to St. Jude Deliverance Center For All People and Founding Senior Pastor of over 25 years to  More Than Conquerors International Ministries.

It was on December 31, 1987, when Dr. Memminger took the major step of faith to start Seminar Hall Fellowship Ministries.  Seminar Hall? people would ask.  She would reply that Seminar Hall means to teach. Seminar Hall would be known for its keen focus on teaching the basic principles of God’s Word so that His people would grow and be a blessing.

Four years before, the late Pastor Blanche Baxley would share God’s heart for  her to begin her own ministry. She accepted this, but Dr. Memminger would not move until God showed her the vision. One day, Pastor Memminger would fall into an open vision and see a dome descend out of the sky onto a large, expansive property filled with lush trees and young people as far as her eyes could see passing cement blocks.

In this vision, the Spirit of God laid out the four-fold vision and mission of Seminar Hall Fellowship Ministries:

1. Seminar Hall  “Where Jesus is Exalted and the Glory of the Lord is Seen..”    Church to be a place where the basics of the Word of God would be taught with demonstration and power, signs following.

2. Holy Spirit School of Ministries, a Bible Training center offering training in the areas of Prayer, The Gifts of the Holy Spirit, Faith, Spiritual Protocol, Praise and Worship, and Servanthood.

3. Mary Memminger Ministries, a ministry taking the Word of God out of the four walls of the church and into hotel settings.

4. Feeding Program for the Poor & Needy--our ministry has soup kitchens, thanksgiving turkey giveaways, Back to School Bashes, and myriad other community events.

In the mid 90s Pastor felt a shift and changed to More Than Conquerors International Ministries Romans 8:37  “Nay in all these things we are more than conquerors.”

The church would continue to support locally and abroad… children on all four continents, the St. Jude’s Children's Hospital, Russian Jews,  a young boy in Ecuador, International Fellowship of Christians and Jews,  Save Jerusalem. GOD TV, TBN.

Oh Yes, We are More than Conquerors--Yes, We Soar!!!
