Mrs. Betty Rae Youmans Koger, daughter of the late Wesley Sr. and Daisy Bell Williams Youmans was born on May 20, 1943 in Walterboro, SC

She was educated in the public schools of Colleton County.

 She was a member of Walterboro New Church of Christ of Walterboro.

 Throughout her career Betty was employed by Dayco later as a private sitter for several families. Along with her late husband they were founder and owners of B &L Residential Care and B & L Rentals of Walterboro.

Mr. and Mrs. Koger, loved sharing their home with family and friends for occasions, with the last one being her 75th Birthday cookout on May 26, 2018, which she was overwhelmed with joy.

She was united in holy matrimony to the late Lester Koger who departed this life on January 29, 2018. Betty loved Lester with all her heart. After his passing, her desired was to go and be with her husband which God granted her wishes on Tuesday, July 25, 2018 at Trident Medical Center of Charleston, SC.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Annie Mae Adams, brothers, Wesley Jr., Wilbur and Leroy Youmans.

She leaves to cherish her love and many memories to; four sisters, Letha Mae Hampton, Robertha Mitchell, Vernell Sanders and Deborah Bowman (Lawrence); devoted nieces, Barbara Bryant (Isaac) and Patsy Fulton; God-daughter, Katrina Bowman, Uncles, Joe Williams, Jr., Frank Marion; special devoted cousins-in-law, Thomas Lawton (Loretta) along with numerous nieces nephew, cousins and other relatives and friends.
