Vander Clemson Williams, Jr. was born August 25, 1931 to late Vander Williams, Sr. and Eva Boatwright Williams. Vander left this earthly life for his eternal life on January 11, 2024

He received his education in Colleton County Public Schools and later proudly joined the United States Army to serve his country.

He was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life the late Sadie Mae Williams

Vander was a dedicated member of Deep Creek Missionary Baptist church until his health begin to fail.

He worked and retired from Site Prep and still enjoyed operating bulldozers.

He was preceded in death by his sons; Tyrone, Charles and Bernard Williams; his daughters, Mary McFadden, Veronica Griffin and Monica Williams; two grandchildren, Vander and LaShonda Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories, three daughters, Lula Harrison (Christopher), Diane Townsend (Clifford), Terria Wilson (Ernest); one son, David Williams (Cheryl); daughter-in-law, Vanessa  Williams; a grandson raised in the home Channing Williams (Crystal). The Middleton family and a host of grand children, great grand children, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
