It’s in God’s plan that we all will return to him. At His calling on March 20, 2017 Willie Henry Kinard Sr. gently returned to Him. Readily he answered. He entered into eternal rest at St. George Health Care in St. George, South Carolina.

Willie was born April 19, 1935 in Ashton, South Carolina to the late Reverend Alonzo Kinard and Annie Glover Kinard. He was the tenth child out of twenty one children.

He received his education in Ashton, SC. He was a member of Ashton Branch Christian Church.

He was employed at Ideal Laundry for many years and later at General Telephone/Verizon until he retired.

He was joined in holy matrimony to late Mrs. Voncile Montgomery Kinard and they were blessed with four children.

Willie was preceded in death by his siblings, Rev. Alonzo Kinard, Jr., Gerald Lockwood Kinard, James Kinard, Irene Lewis, Edna Risher, Nathaniel Frank Kinard, Blondell Bradham, Ella Bread, Leamon S. Kinard and Louise Bryant.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Children, Jeanette Kinard Bell, Ceretha Kinard, Willie Henry Kinard, Jr. and Frank Nathaniel Kinard; He was also blessed with 17 grandchildren and  numerous great grands; four sisters, Vernell Bryant, Annie Gennette Breland of Walterboro, SC, Violet McKnight of Queens, NY, Earnestine Hagnes (Charles) of Philadelphia, PA; one brother , Perry Kinard of Mouldin, SC; four sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law Special thanks to his nephew affectionately know as Chuck that held the role of son to his uncle Willie. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
