Woodrow Kirkland

Woodrow Kirkland the son of the late Lonnie Kirkland Sr. and Clara Goff Kirkland was born on July 8, 1953 in Colleton County, South Carolina.

He departed this life July 29, 2021 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Woodrow affectionately known as "Woody" by many. He was educated in the Colleton County school system.

At an early age Woodrow became a member of Buckhead United Methodist Church.

He was a devoted employee at Furniture Solutions in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, for over Twenty years. He was a hard worker who would lend a helping hand with a smile whenever he could.

Woodrow was preceded in death by his parents and wife Mrs. Julienne  Kirkland.

Woodrow will be missed and will leave fond memories to be cherished by his children; five sons; Woodrow Kirkland Jr. of Ruffin, SC; Michael Kirkland of Baltimore, Maryland; Christopher Kirkland,  Jacoby Kirkland of Walterboro, SC; Patrick Thomas, daughter, Marketa Kirkland; brothers, Lonnie Kirkland, Jr. (Hattie), Philadelphia, PA,  Kenneth Kirkland, Freddie Kirkland (Barbara), both of Orangeburg, SC; ten grandchildren, one great-grand; one aunt Ethel Goff of Brooklyn, NY and host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

ATTENTION: Due to the COVID- 19 virus pandemic  and in the effort to help stop the spread of the Virus. Walk through viewing only and please remember that face masks must be worn at all times while in the Funeral Home. We can only allow a certain number of individuals inside the funeral home at one time.
